Shootin’ Jackie

This is from my latest shoot with the very talented musician Jackie Williams. It was lovely to get the brief “I love your work, totally open to ideas” and then he sent me a link to a few of his tracks! Wow! I love shooting musicians but it makes it really special when they sound like this guy.

I shot both digital and film, this one was shot on Kodak’s beautiful classic black and white film Tri-x using the medium format Mamiya RZ67 proii with the Sekor 110mm f2.8. Developed and scanned here in the studio using Kodak Xtol developer and the Epson V850 pro scanner.

Rodrigo Constanzo

Rodrigo Constanzo makes music and art, originally from Miami he’s now based here in sunny Manchester.

Here’s my first tentative steps shooting 10×8 film, who said bigger isn’t better? The results just blew me away, it just gives that fleshy quality that screams life. It really is a step closer to what I’m looking for in a subject.

This was shot on Ilford Delta 100 and developed in Kodak Xtol for 8mins.
